Frozen chocolate with an espresso kick! Affogato, or drowned in Italian, is a coffee dessert of scooped vanilla ice cream topped, or "drowned", with a shot of hot espresso. The MOCAFE™ Arctic Affogato is a thirst-quenching spin of this popular sweet treat.
- 2 scoops MOCAFE™ Arctica Frozen Chocolate
- 4 oz. cold Milk
- 12 oz. Ice
- 1 shot hot Espresso
Substitute regular Milk for Almond Milk or Soy, if needed. Place all ingredients in blender. Blend until smooth. Pour into a glass and pour espresso shot on top. Serve with a spoon and straw.
Optional - top with roasted almonds, mix with vanilla ice cream, or sprinkle with crushed biscotti.
